Stubbed your toe? Sprained an ankle? Know someone who has broken their wrist? 🌿
Use these local, common and wonderfully healing herbs to make a lovely balm:

1/4 cup chopped, dried ‘British arnica’ I.e. daisies (Bellis perennis) (‘daisies for bruises’)
1/4 cup chopped, dried Elder leaf (Sambucus nigra) (elder leaf is also a fab bruise ointment)
1/4 cup chopped, dried Comfrey leaf (Symphytum sp.) (helps re-knit bones and tissues together)
1 cup of Shea butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup sunflower (or olive) oil
30g beeswax (can also use vegan candelilla or caranuba wax)
🌿
Once infused, strain and pour into tins. Label and date. 🌿
To use: Apply liberally as needed. Should last up to a year in a cool dark place.
